If you’re brand new to baseball or you’ve been a sideline umpire since your athlete started TBall, or worked a few games and want to feel more confident. This course is built for you.

 What you’ll learn:

• Plate vs. Base responsibilities (what you own and what you don’t)

• Safe/Out & Catch/No-Catch mindset (timing + angle beats guessing)

• Fair/Foul basics + common “weird” plays

• Rotations & positioning that keep you out of trouble

• Game management: calm voice, clear signals, and selling the call

Real-game examples included:

 “Banger” at 1st base: where to be, when to wait, what to look for

 Fly ball near the line: fair/foul + catch/no-catch priorities

 Runner’s lane / interference situations: what actually matters
